When we met model Tash Moore at the Hester Street Fair on the Lower East Side, we knew immediately that we'd get along. Tash is the founder of
Peace Love Threads, a fantastic e-commerce site with a wonderful blog to go with it. According to their website:

Sound familiar? It certainly did to us! Tash's mission reminded us a lot of our own mantra, "Live your dreams, and smell good while doing it." With such a perfect pairing, we naturally had to pass along this website, as well as a link to a

list courtesy of Refinery29 of the top 30 rising stars in D.C. under 30. We love the idea of giving young up and-comers (like Nomaterra founders Ben and Aggie) the props that they deserve, so we absolutely loved this story and thought we had to share! And, we have to admit, we think that everyone on this list would love our powerful and fresh Washington, D.C. fragrance!

We had a busy weekend here at Nomaterra, with events here in New York and at a fabulous boutique, Bellacara, in Alexandria, VA!
Guests got to sip on champagne and enjoy delicious chocolates while meeting the fantastic perfumer behind our fragrances. Thanks so much to everyone who came out and supported Nomaterra fragrances! We had a great time meeting all of you.
With the release of Condé Nast Traveler's
2013 Hot List of Hotels, we couldn't help but check out what the hottest hotels in our fair city were. And boy were we impressed! We were particularly pleased to see that a hotel in Brooklyn was featured, and was in fact declared the hottest of all three New York hotels that made the list! The
Wythe Hotel, in lovely Williamsburg, looks like a fantastic home away from home whenever you're next in the city! With breathtaking views of Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens, a rooftop bar, and a top-notch restaurant in the building, we'll definitely be heading over to check out this hot hotel.

Happy Monday Nomaterra fans!
We had a fantastic weekend here at Nomaterra, and hope you all did, too! We held an event on Saturday at one of our favorite beauty boutiques here in Brooklyn,
Shen Beauty. We had delicious cupcakes made with ingredients similar to notes found in each of our perfumes, sangria, and our perfumer and founder Aggie was blending custom scents using essential oils.
